I want to change the prefix "wp" in wordpress.
For example for the login page, "www. sitename .com/wp-login.php"
I want to change it to something like "www. sitename .com/login".
    Is it possible in wordpress?

    Thanks

I am sure it is possible but it would make upgrading a pain. any particular reason you want to?

I don't want to see the wp in my links.
I am working on making a new blog which i have decided to call my friends to post as authors. So it will be easy to remember the link without any wp..

I think it would be alot of work to convert everything. Perhaps you could use a redirect to redirect them from /login. I think this would be a much easier solution than removing the wp-.

    Just my 2cents though :)
