    Its possible only if your institute is accredited by Nationally Recognized Accrediting Agencies.

    Few years back it was possible to book .edu domains for indian institutions.

    But you can always book a .edu.in domain name now in India.

    No you cannot have .Edu DOmain as stated by one of the forum poster.

    Best option is to go with .Edu.in
