Supposively there was someone who was allergic to "water" but the only problem is, everything comes from water so if you were, you'd die instantly cause your body is made up of a certain percent of water. IDK how you can be, unless it was a chemical in the water itself making you allergic.
Allergies can take different forms- death isn't the only reaction to an allergy. If it is death, the person may not live long enough to be documented as an example of a person being allergic to water.

This is the way desensitization is done, by giving (introducing) the allergic substance to the person in small quantity and slowly increasing the dose and after certain period of time the person can tolerate the allergic substance.
