Is it possible to attack datacenters with DoS?

But still Dos attacks went down sites.....

 

You would have to be an idiot to take down a DC anyway.

I remember a couple years ago there was a security hole found in a Cisco router that was heavily used in the industry. Many data centers were under attack and it took Cisco a couple days to get it under control. My datacenter unfortunately was one place effected for the period.

The hardware used at datacenters is subject to attack the same as any home computer running XP.
