hi, i would like to know - if it's possible to 'allow' ONLY pay-per-click ads on my site thru' adsense. i feel the 'CPM' takes much longer time for real money to tricle in!! i had read somewhere on this forum that we can be selective about the ads displayed on our sites. has anybody tried this out on their sites? what was ur experience in terms of higher/lower revenues? pls explain how to do it as well. seotek
Heya seotek, You can disable image ads in your AdSense configuration. You may also want to disable the "Advertise on this site" message to blend your ads in better.
You can: use the text ad only option, disable the "advertise on this site" option, and then email Adsense and ask them to disable "site targeting" for your site, so advertisers can't buy CPM blocks on your site. That should almost guarantee only text/CPC ads on your site.
I am wondering if there are any other kind of Ads? They are all PPC except for the charity ones which come up at the launge of a site only.
