Is it possible for DP?

    hi admin + mods,
i was just wondering if it is possible for DP to add proper auction pluggins for site sales in sites section. this is because i came across so many threads where members put their sites on auctions but could not remain online all the time after setting up a deadline so bidders keeps on complaining as if who's BIN comes first (in case BIN price meets). so it will be much easier if proper auction setup is made to facilitate members + bidders (like on SP).
    what do you say?

I still think it's a neat idea. It would stop people from retracting bids, give some structure to the thing

It would be a good idea, but retracting bids is good also because then if you have second thaughts you arent stuck in an auction ruining it for everyone.

You can still retract bids using SitePoint's system.

Seems like a good idea but wouldn't it be rather difficult to code/set up?

I think that would be a good idea. Structure and adding on to this forum will make it more professional. But not to professional don't want to be charge for every little aspect of using this forum.

    I don't think that's PHP. It's an image that he edits and re-uploads :)

thnx to all those favoring my suggestion. its just to make DP a better place for genuine bidders and sellers so that everyone gets a transparent deal. now a days, a seller says "i got a pm for 200 USD" now the point is how can a bidder confirms it. there is no way. i mean fake biddings can be prevented by the use of this technology.
rest depends on admin + mods.
    thnx
