Yes of course its possible for a 17 y/o to start his own business. He just needs to have a plan on what he's going to do. I've seen many young entrepreneurs run their own successful business.
I'm 15 years old, soon to be 16 and I have recently opened various businesses. Just have to keep at it and keep your current jobs so you can pump money into them.
What company tried to recruit you midwest? BTW I am 16 and currently I have been making over $1000 a week for a month.
I started in the womb. j/k. I think if your business is successful, it says a lot of great things about you. It shows you're a self-starter, you have ambition, you're disciplined and organized enough to manage yourself. Those are all qualities employers want, specfically when it comes to "management material". My concern would be that if you quit your jobs, where are you going to get money to invest in things like advertising, web hosting, etc.? Not that you need to spend a ton of money (or any) to get started, but having a source of income allows you to do things faster than you would otherwise. Do you have savings? Would your parents help you? (personally I'd vouch for paying for everything yourself even if they would). Those might be some questions to consider.
Yes, it is possible. I start my own small business when I was nine year old even it was small money but at least i did it from my own
Naa my parents don't have any idea about computers which is what I like lol. They won't help me and they don't need to. I'm not asking anyone to give money to raise and start for a project, I make money myself. There are a lot of opportunities here and there... I think a man can live off this forum BST If you know about online business you certainly won't need a offline job. WOW!
Haha I know it definitely seems that way, but make sure you're 100% certain that you're going to have a steady stream of income coming in for your business. I made the mistake of thinking I could do everything the free way, but it ended up taking me MUCH longer to make money than if I'd just kept my day job longer and ran my business in my spare time. Oh well, live and learn. If you have other income sources besides your jobs, you should be fine. But trust me, having cash on hand makes so many things SO much easier!
I think age is but a number, if you are starting a business then there is a 50 50 chance . It can either win or lose ! If the business is online then it cuts costs and theres no rent to pay , etc etc infact all you would need is a paypal and a website ! I say give it your best shot and good luck !
If you start your own business why worry about a goof cv? CV is a resume to those that don't know. the whole point of your own business is to not work for someone else at least thats my reason one of them. But also employers want a sucker to work for them. Someone that only is interested in working for them so they can pay you as little as possible while getting the most work out of you as they can. So your own business is a red flag to many cause they want a one minded person only working for them. So it isn't always the best thing to do. Depending on the boss.
anything is possible...especially after some 15-something year old is a multi millionaire from making a popular Myspace code site
Bookish knowledge doesnt help a bit if you are passionate about earning money! i myself a computer engineer and practical knowledge is something entirely different. You can be a brilliant student but it is not necessarily true that you can earn tonnes of money. If you want to succeed... First figure out what interests you or perhaps you can turn your passion to business. At your age you are young and active and sky is the limit. Nowdays there are lot many young kids are billionaires or earning six figure income.
