Is it okay to use adsense on free domain names like co.nr ?

    Hi,

There are several free domain name provider like
    http://freedomain.co.nr (YOURSITE.co.nr)
    http://dot.tk (YOURSITE.tk)
    http://we.bs (YOURSITE.we.bs)

If I grab a free domain name from any of these sites and put my Adsense code, is that okay? Does that comply with the Adsense Tos?

    Thanks.

I am pretty sure it is ok. Because adsense is even allowed on subdomains.

You need to check with those companies you want to get a free domain through. I know its against Angelfire's policy to have your own ads on their pages, so check them out individually. Google won't ban you, but those domain companies might.

Since adsense is allowed on subdomains, which are technically free, then yes on a free domain it would be okay.

If you're half serious about making money online then do it right and invest the few dollars it costs to get your own domain. Should your site ever become successful the control of the site will be out of your hands and if you want to switch later it could cost you big time.

Yep. You don't want to go through the hassle of promotion, back link building, etc. only to build up a site you don't even own.

Yeah it is allowed but I don't reccomend it.

If your website makes money, you will probably get your own domain. Then you will have another sh*tload of trouble promoting your new domain.

Also, make sure your website doesn't have all those popups. Google doesn't like them.

one thing , because i have a site like this ... my IIL.BE
if you want use the "Allowed Sites" feature for .co.nr or tk or any... you must write the name of host like mysite.50webs, why ? because this services only forward the url ,( redirect ) you don't have dns management...

NO! Because it's domain only and you need your own host.you have to host your contents on your own shared/dedicated server.
Only you can use free domains redirection service if your hosting is blogspot.com or your own shared/dedicated server.Google will not approve your application if you use other free domain names/blogs system/free hosting services.

I think Google will approve his aplication even with a redirected subdomain , ask all co.nr users with adsense or those who use free hosting :)

Yes , this must be the reason or maybe because dot.tk use ads ( upper frames ) on users pages, isn't a professional look ... is to much , this is why i don't use any ads for my url redirection users ...

Yes it is allowed , but i think you will get a low cpc rate compared to a .com domain.

There are lots of complaints against these sites. They will delete your blog when your blog started to get traffic. However you may work with wordpress or blogger and that would be best than these redirect domains. From SEO perspective people should not use redirect domains. You may use adsense in any domain.
