    rewritten articles are enough to get approval for Adsense, but they don't make good money.

    To get my AdSense account, I posted an EZA article to Blogger.com. I didn't rewrite it. I did include the resource box as required. But the article was not even unique content, or rewritten. I still got my approval in two or three days.

    It sounds like you are actually writing your own articles, but you are just using ezine articles as the source for your information. The problem is your articles will only be as good as the information given by the original authors of the ezine articles, which can be very good or very bad. It's ok to read a few ezine articles for ideas but I would also look for other sources of information.
