I want to put the code like old fashion like this : <script type="text/javascript"><!-- google_ad_client = "pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"; google_ad_channel ="xxxxxxxxxx"; google_ad_width = 728; google_ad_height = 90; google_ad_format = "728x90_as"; google_color_border = "ECF3EB"; google_color_bg = "ECF3EB"; google_color_link = "226C22"; google_color_url = "226C22"; google_color_text = "000000"; //--></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"> </script> PHP: not as it is now generated in our accounts as " ad slots " only is this ok?
Yes you can still use the old code format, but I think only if you use an ad code that you created before the change. I am still with lots of sites where the old code is placed and they keep working fine. When I create a new page on those sites, I usually copy and paste the code from an already existing one. Changing the colours and border in the code has never been a problem if page design changed and I had to adjust the look of the ads.
It may be to be simple if you want to know exactly, It must be like this to run adsense revenue share
I think you can run the new code as easily as the old code on revenue sharing sites. You change the Publisher's ID in the code right? So instead of changing the ID, you may change the whole code. But for that, you need your users to enter the whole code. may be you are right, the old code is better for such sites
