    Hello

    quick question

is it ok and normal to write an ebook, and use my affiliate ID on it and offer it for free in freebies or this is against the rules?

    Thanks

yeah i already read that in the FAQs
but the reason i'm asking is because :

i will offer something USEFUL for free, and this thing will be delivered to members thru a download link (not direct post in the forums.

so in this case is it still a Not allowed?

P.S freebies section is full of such a thing.

Anykind of affiliate link not allowed here. If you come to know any then just 'Report' it through 'report post' option.

    DON.

Don;t only read the rules and try to outsmart, check, what is the real spirit behind that rule. Affiliate links are not allowed, it means they are not allowed anywhere. (except signatures)

Yes, if you see anyone breaking the rule or the spirit then you should be reporting that post.

You can certainly link to the download from your signature though -- might be more likely to get free e-book downloads that way than clicks on a direct affiliate link.

Yes. Affiliate links are allowed in signatures, so a free e-book with affiliate links would be too. They're just not allowed in posts.
