Is it ok to have more than one website on the same server.

    I am thinking of moving my one of my sites to a different server with the same platform/software as my main site. Is that a problem with Google, Yahoo?

    Should not be a problem at all. Try to minimize the down time, thats all.

    It's a great idea, I have 3 or 4 of my sites on the same server.. No problems yet...

    I host several of my sites on my own server and so far no problems with indexing/ranking.

    99% websites are on shared hosting. Search engines knows that.

    Its not a good idea giving somebody advice without having proper knowledge.
