Is it ok to give google access to my site's info?

    Pro - you get some nice stats

    Con - Other SE's hate you for it hahahah, ive noticed on some young sites i use analytics on Bing dosent come around to them ROTFL

    I don't think you have much to lose, google analytics is one of the best pieces of kit out there for the job, and what's more, it's one of the only ones without a massive price tag.

    Also, I don't think other search engines penalise you for using GA any more than they do for you using any kind of analytics software.

    with the wars starting to fire up between MS Google and Apple, i wouldn't be surprised if a Bing bot sees GA on your site and automatically downplays it.

    Its a dog eat dog world out there, and its one of those things that really dosent matter because its a business and they need to do what they need to do

    I got one site that is on Bing's #1 page for some keywords and its not on Google. it runs GA
