Hi, am just wondering if this comply with AdSense TOS, maybe someone have a similar experience and already knows the answer to this question, i own an amazon affiliate Niche toy store, no real content just toys for sale (Titles, descriptions, prices, i also have a shopping cart system..), is it ok to add adsense on this kind of websites ?

    thanks.

I do not see any problem. Your site does have content and follows terms it will be fine.

The product title and descriptions are content so you do have content.

I'd ask Google on this one. Once, they wouldn't have cared, but this summer they've been cracking down and telling people they can't display Adsense on sites without good content or that exist just to sell affiliate products. It's a good idea to make sure your site conforms to their "Webmaster Quality Guidelines"

Of course, you can always try. :) The worst they'll probably do is shut down ads to that site.

It should be OK in terms of TOS. But do you want to? It may detract from your affiliate products.

thanks for your opinions guys, well i guess i'll contact adsense first.

qwest yes i feel that am losing a lot of income when users leave my website without buying anything, thats why i want to add one adsense block in the bottom of the pages so when my users doesnt find a product they like atleast i'll make some additional income if they click on adsense.

i still want to hear more opinions, may be someone is already doing this  ?

    cheers.

the only thing google will care is just dont display any ads that look like or similar to google in the same page. if you got a similar one just better change the layout the the color and it would be fine.

i dont have similar ads.. i have an online store with a shopping cart.. Am worried because of the adsense Quality guidelines - specific guidelines :

this is really a problem i dont understand what kind of content they want in an Online store, i am selling toys thats what's the site is about (titles, descriptions and prices), if i add additional content i'll distract users from my products.. (well i dont even know what to add)

anyway i'll send them an email and see what they say..

    cheers.
