In the last month i have had great success for my targeted keywords. In the last month i have managed to move my site to the top 5 pages of google. And my target is the first page. And i have been getting good backlinks and working hard. But today, my site is nowhere to be found? Is this normal? Could this mean maybe my rank is getting updated? Im a little worried.
Have you tried using http://whatpageofgoogleamion.com/ to see if maybe you just fell off from the top 5 pages? Thats happened with me before.
just check maybe your site in sand box. if your domain is new and did lots of seo promotion then google send them in sand box for review. or other wise check your website pages. make sure their is no any duplicate index page available on hidden side. Some time its happen in joomla or wordpress pages.
One of my sites temporarily seemed to disappear out of Google before. But it was back when I checked the next day. Maybe they are just rebuilding their index? Check it tomorrow
Even a sudden drop due to Google dance or serp fluctuation should considered as there is something missing/lacking for the sites that loose rankings.
well it happens only for new sites with fewer pages ... just building new content . it will be just fine for you guys ...
I think you have made a lot of backlinks for your website in some days and it caused disappearing from Google results. If you did it, you should stop making backlinks and only make a few quality backlinks for it daily that Google ranks your website again.
I am having the situation, my domain is disappeared from google since 18th nov, I believe that i have done nothing in eye of search engines, i just put some links from my other websites to this one, can you please check it for me (webdesigndubai.com)
It can be just a google dance - when google discovers a new amount of links that lead to your site, it takes a little time and dancing in order for your site to jump to next position in the results (be it a higher position or a lower). There is also a possibility of a penalty, but that happens mostly only if your site/domain is very young, and/or if you have been using some methods improperly. Best advice would be to wait in order to see the final situation, and continue forming new and quality links gradually.
i can only find myself with my domain name. But keywords have yet to be found. Not sure whats up. In my index it says i have 3200 links. But i have no idea where that many links came from. I do have a video website.
There has been a major google algorithm change. So the disapearance of your site might be something to do with this or it is sandboxed if your site is relatively new.
It is normal. You should do the job like you were done before and caution for being over optimized. The steady pace of seo activity is important. If you stop all activities you did before just because your ranking fluctuated then it would be suspicious looking from Google perspective. Your website link profile has been compared to other website in the same niche then you have to be patient over.
I think your position got back and may be the backlinks you have built with may be deleted. so wait for saome days may be ur site goes up automatically ...
This is a temporary change, which happens in Google update period. Soon you will get your rankings back. keep working on with your SEO activities.
Whilst I see that many of the respondents here advocate an explanation of this being a "temporary fluctuation" or due to a "Google dance", in many cases such a disappearance from SERPs is due to a search penalty being imposed. The symptoms are that your site disappears from the first few results pages, and organic traffic pretty much dries up within a couple of days. I know of several such examples. Penalties can take a long time (months or even years) to be lifted. You should join our campaign asking search engines to at least confirm whether a penalty has been imposed by adding your site as a case study: http://www.haveibeenpenalized.com - contact me in case you have any comments or questions. Thank you Marc
Dont Worry Sometimes your pages do just disappear from Google for whatever reason. Usually we see this with new sites. Some people call this “The Sandbox Effectâ€. In almost all cases these pages find their way back into the index, especially if you are building good inbound links. So if you think you are getting smacked around by Google my advice is to relax.
Check your site in Google with site:domainname.com. If your site is index then don't worry. Just collect quality backlinks for your site If you are not find your site index then check your website that there is any black hat technique is applied. If yes then remove it from your website
