just started adsense 3 weeks ago. most of the days the eCPM is $0. does ti mean that :

    1) advertisers paid nothing to advertise and therefore are paid nothing?
    2) after google takes teh commission, what's left for me is virtually 0?

my page is a blog, so i don't expect to earn much. but $10 would be nice. :)

    It means:

    1) Nobody is clicking on the ads.
    2) Nobody is paying to target your site with eCPM ads or nobody is looking at any pages displaying ads.

ecpm from the google site means
If you don't earn anything then the earnings per 1000 impressions are zero.

    Hope that helps

I have seen it one my low traffic sites. But if somebody clicks it, it will not be 0. You can use addfreestats to track some of your adsense clicks.
