Is it normal for long tail keywords to have crazy bid ranges?

    I'm new to YSM...anyway, entered a bunch of three-four word keywords. When I click on the keywords it says Bid Forecasting is not available under the monthly estimates section -- that makes sense. But, under the Sponsored Search section, it says crazy things like Bid Range for Top Position $23.57 to $7.29, which makes no sense to me, because people aren't paying $7 for this keyword phrase, much less $24, and besides, why is the range inverted? I'm wondering if this is normal for YSM or is it only my account? Thanks, sorry if this has been discussed before but I didn't see it mentioned.
