You could always do a direct link using a PHP redirect from a domain. It will certainly look a lot more professional than an affiliate link i.e. http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-1234567-12345678?url=http://.

Try to find a cheap $2 .info domain name similar to that of the advertiser you are promoting, 90% of the time the visitor will not even know that they've been redirected.

I would also suggest creating a landing page, even if it's only for testing purposes. A lot of offers convert better if you pre-sell the visitor.

It will affect your quality score that's for sure, but so will a direct link to an affiliate link so you might as well make the link look authoritative for the visitors.

It depends on each advertiser. Some advertiser is not allowed you to direct link to advertiser page and forced you to have your own landing page before send reader to them.

However, if you can do both then I suggest you should take time to analyze on advertiser sales page. If their sales page are suck you may have to create compelling landing page yourself instead of sending to advertiser directly to boost up your conversion rate.

The majority of advertisers do not allow you to use their domain name as the visible URL (the usually run their own SEM campaigns, and Google only allows one ad per visible URL), so in these cases, you'll need a landing page.
