I have been noticing that a lot of new sites are built with wordpress but they are not being used as blogs. Is that the best way to create a site if you are looking for an easy task? Use wordpress and basically turn it into a CMS with a nice advanced template? I see so many wordpress site now and even older sites i visit are converting over to wordpress. Is wordpress king for web design now?
Wordpress isn't for design but I think it is popular because there are many ready-made themes for it that people can buy and even download some free. They also get the power of wordpress at no cost so I think it is more like a way to do things on the cheap.
I've noticed this too. It makes sense. Wordpress is free and there are plugins that can let you do pretty much anyhting. It's great!
