Lots of stuff is better; lots of stuff still needs significant improvement. It's good to see things improving here, I had lost faith completely.
I think it's about time for a "No double-post" mod (succeeding post automatically gets added to previous one), mods are always saying how busy they are trying to control the spamming & bumping, this would help them out a lot.. I've seen it on other forums.
+1 to that. Or at the very least a restriction from posting when the last post in the thread is yours. Probably just lead to folks opening up new threads though.
I am not really sure, only 10 days since I joined, so this question maybe someone else should answer, but I like this forum very good!
I would say that DP is become more strict but a better place to live. With large population the responsibility really piles up as it generally increases the number of spammers too. Past month has seen some significant changes in it's rules and the activeness of moderators on the forum which is good. I hope Dp can become one place without of minimal number of spammer around and a better place to do business and interact with people.
We use it on NetBuilders and it works quite well for us. We only enable it in the Marketplace. It doesn't stop people from getting their friends to bump their threads, but it does stop a lot of thread bumping.
