I think I know the answer, but I want confirmation before blacklisting this guy. I was checking my affiliate links today after reading about hops being hijacked on some sites. When I tested one of my oldest links, the publisher order button took me directly to PayPal instead of the usual ClickBank/PayPal order form. I can't imagine this is legit and I think this guy is ripping off his affiliates, but I want to make sure. Is there any legitimate way a publisher can send customers directly to PayPal?
Not with keeping your info and giving you comission. They can do all kinds of things though like putting up adsense etc. Just means theyre a bad publisher. I'd stop promoting.
This guy is definitely a bad publisher, but I was able to convert his product before. I was making 1 sale for every 123 hops up until a couple of months ago. I wasn't actively promoting it anymore, but I figured I would make an occasional sale if I kept a couple of links up. There is no way I can make a commission now from what I can tell. I've removed my links and reported the problem to ClickBank. If they confirm what I'm thinking, I'll let everyone know to stay away from this guy and his products.
