Yeah, definitely NOT. Thanks to a user who told me about it! Google's TOS there was a bit confusing, but now just do the following: Do NOT edit your code by hand. Always use the AdSense website to generate code and use it exactly. There is nothing you need to edit by hand! Sure, you can save maybe 10 seconds changing a color or adding your channel info, but it is much safer to do it through their website. Why take a chance at making a mistake and losing your account permanently?
Use the Google code that you get from using the Google setup utility. Google is very protective of their look and feel and it will be just a matter of time but they will find it and you could lose your account. It is not worth the risk.
