hii guys, it's my first post here, i hope i wont be disapointed.. i wanted to ask the master is this form of link is legal or google may punish me for doing that? < a href="http://www.3arabiyat.net" onlcick="http://www.byramix.com">text</a> and if it's legaly, which site get the PR passing, and which site google will crowl to? it's very important to me to know, i'm not trying to trick google, i want to use this to improve one of my systems that is a links system! thanks for all who can help!
This is definitely not what google wants you to do, so I think it's unlikely that either site benefits much in terms of google-rating.
Google finds out there tricks and penalizes. You may get away with it for a while, but your time would be better served getting real links.
well, thanks for all your advices, i'm asking all that for one reason,i want to improve one system that i have, it a service for webmasters, so the quality of the link is good for the clients of this system not for me. my system is a banners click system, it count click on banners. for now my link is ...redirect.asp?id=1 , and i'm sure that u all know that it's a dead link. so i thought to relive the link by doing this click where i put in the href the real domain, but actualy it pass through my system so i can count the click. beside i dont want my clients to get punished because of me. i'm running a test for the last week about that, i'll update about the results. but do anyone have any idea how can i do to create a good link without loosing the statistics ? by the way, you can see my system here : brinji.com
There is another redirection way... from alex <a onMouseOver="window.status='http: //---.com'; return true;" href="http: //redirect .alexa .com/redirect?http //.....&q=---.com"> maybe it is fine if you do not use it for exchanging links
it's not so good, google will see the redirect page, it's not so effective. and i want it specialy for link exchange.
u show something is href and when user clicks on it u should be taking them to a totally different domain. I don't think u should trick ur visitors either
i'm not tricking my visitors, it's true it looks like tricking, but i'm not going to use that for tricking my visitors. Textlinksguru: u think that it's not harmfull likn?? is it ok ? will the pr pass through it?
by the way, i just got reseluts of a test that i did on this issue. i placed such a link in my homepage, and today i saw that google crowled to the paged that i put on the href. to check the results search in google the words: "rtnh jukh"
