Is it Legal handing out leaflets on the street?

    i forgot about this thread for a while

    anyway..
    Im handing the leaflets out in central London, UK
    they advertise my free console sites.. 360claim, wiiclaim, ps3claim.com

    Im just hoping i dont get some organisation ringing me up after and taking me to court or anything.
    If its legal then its all good

    lol i have done a lot of promo stuff on the street and i would never go to london as no one ever did any good there i will keep my thingers crost for but you may be better going to a smaller place out side london you will proberly get a better responce

    Using leaflets to promote a website is pretty useless.

    Guy get leaflet.
    Guy goes home / work to computer 10 minutes after getting leaflet.
    Guy takes out leaflet to read out web address.
    Or guy forgets about leaflet all together.

    That is why Adwords and SEO work so well on impulse buyers.

    Very true. While it is legal here in the US, I do know you can be commissioned to clean up the "litter" if your leaflets end up on the ground, especially if it's private property.
