Is it just me...

Or are the moderators too frequently trying to think for our intentions and moving threads?

Could we at least get a heads up as to our intention and asked to reword a thread before it's dumped into the category a mod wants it in?

I think there is a bit too much assumption going on lately. I'm not the first to have a thread moved where I can cite examples of similar threads not being moved.

Come on guys. I know you love your new buttons, but how about some respect?

With vBulletin 3.5, it's too easy to mod. :D They don't even have to look at the thread. Hince for example a thread about Google can easily be moved to a non-Google thread!!!! It happens a lot! :D

Do you have a specific example of a thread being moved that you think shouldn't have been?

As far as moderators contacting people before they do a moderation action (like moving a thread), that's really not practical. If something needs to be moved, it needs to be moved... Mods would end up having to send hundreds of PMs per day, wait for them to respond, then do whatever action after the user involved responds... Then how long are they supposed to wait if the user doesn't respond at all?

I have experienced that before.... I agree it is annoying but you know the moderators here are smarter then you and know what you meant to do ;)

There are reasons that things are moved where they are moved (usually they have to do with the "bigger picture" rather than the individual thread itself).

When you try to manage a forum of this size, the "big picture" becomes more important than individual threads. Everything would become unmanageable and degrade quickly if that wasn't the case.

Well no comments about the MODS here.
omg i dont want a new user title again :D:D

I have never seen any thread wantedly moved.
We the members only start threads in wrong places, which the mods move and some times split from other topics.
