Was wondering about this coz i have a site that i has few "weak" backlinks from the usual places eg directories. Site good content that is now getting nearly 4000 visitors a day..i have never bought paid links to this site just posting content..attached is the screenshot see how traffic has jumped from about 700 visitors per day to 4000
How old is your site and how many posts do you have! Kindly share as it looks great to have a sudden hike on your traffic! However check your bounce rate as well and from where you're getting the traffic!
The site is about one year old. Interesting thing is i havent aggessively built backlinks to it. It started getting close to 1000 genuine visitors after a few months of launching it. Over the december period it slowed down abit then it has spiked to 4000 yesterday..All this is free traffic...I cant share the domain name the reason being there are people here who love to destroy others people hard work but what i can say its in the job/education sector in a particular African country. Probably the other reason the traffic came "easy" is because there are not too many competitors in this field.
That's something great! Have you tried to capture the traffic through subscriptions! Try to use a autoresponder maybe a free one like Mailchimp and create a database of users visiting your site! Maybe you can offer free advises or sell them profitable info product related to your niche! 4k a day is great! Kindly check your bounce rate and tell me the percentage! If it's low you have potential to make great conversion!
attached is the screenshot for the traffic for the last 2 days. Seems this is traffic that is here to say. Bounce rate is 59% probably caused by them clicking on the adsense ads on the site (site theme gives an average adsense ctr of 15% coz i dont use images with posts, just simple themes with no fancy designs)
You must be having some great backlinks from Quality sources and the traffic might be from Social sites if the information on your website is great.
