Is it just me or is Google down?

I can't seem to load any of Google's pages. Am I the only one having this problem?

Other sites load, except the adsense ads. I find it really weird...

I was having the same problem several weeks ago.
If you use windows XP, try to look your local dns windows setting on

    c:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

open the file with notepad. Normally the file only contain 127.0.0.1 localhost. If you find a line containing google.com or another domain then delete it and save that file again. I hope that's works.

It's look like some trojan has modified those host file on your computer.

    Hmmm... no google.com, just this:

    # Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
    #
    # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
    #
    # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
    # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
    # be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
    # The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
    # space.
    #
    # Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
    # lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
    #
    # For example:
    #
    # 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
    # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

    and the local host thing...

I'm in Europe and Google is working just fine as usually it does.

    @ Jeoru

Perhaps there's a problem somewhere with your Internet provider or your firewall.

Google is up. Maybe you need to clear your brower's cache.

You can also try tracing google.com and see where the connection dies. I'm pretty sure that it's something local.
