Is it just me or is DigitalPoint screwed up on IE6 ?

I have IE6 and I was wondering if it's just me or does DP look really ugly on IE6 ? Everything is kind of shifted for me, and "join date" is intertwined with "post count". I know a forum admin would probably say something like "we suggest you just upgrade to IE7/IE8, but I cannot upgrade at this time for reasons unrelated to DP.
As you probably know, IE6 and IE7 don't work on the same machine together. DP is my favorite forum and I am on here every day, hence the question.

IE 6 always creates problems and webmasters started to ignore IE, they focus on Firefox, Opera and Chrome :) You should also give up using IE!

IE6 has more or less been unofficially end of lifed. Large websites are slowly dropping support for IE6. Google Apps (including Gmail) is the latest...

YouTube stops working with IE6 next week...

As you can see, you are going to need to upgrade soon in order to keep using the web (more and more sites are dropping support for IE6). That being said, I'm not going to bother fixing any IE related rendering issues and any fixes for them would have to come from the vBulletin developers themselves. If Microsoft can't bother to make a browser that works like other browsers, I'm not going to bother to code 2nd versions just for their broken browser.

IE6 has actually always had problems in vB4. It's been known of that bug since Beta stage of vBulletin 4.
Just go get Google Chrome or Firefox that are better than crappy IE.

You could install Firefox or Opera and run them alongside IE6, and yes, IE6 is screwed up with the new version of vBulletin because hardly anyone uses it anymore since Citrix upgraded it's system to be compatible with IE7, which is a major platform used by many US companies for email and office applications.

I don't understand why a person would use an old version of a software such as a browser. Upgrading is very simple with a browser, it's free, and you rarely lose any functions or features.

So user complains IE6 is a problem and never thinks to upgrade? I just don't get it.

Shawn, according to your stats how many people still visit DP using IE6?

Have you ever thought about adding some thing like http://www.ie6nomore.com/ to the header?
