Is it just me or is digitalpoint having some major technical issues?

I've been having some frustrating problems. Hopefully the staff can address this.

1) I get prompted for new PMs but when I check there are none
2) My email shows me new PMs but when I check there are none
3) Threads I create don't show up
4) PMs I've read stay unread and I keep getting popup notifications

Been having this problem for a week but now I can't stand it

 

It seemed slow to me today, but that's about it. Oh, one time a thread didn't show up/update for awhile.

 

they wont even allow me to login in 1 attemp, i have to try around 20 - 25 times everytime.

It shows redirecting & all then back to the same page with me not logged in.

I end up using some proxy. Damn irritating :x

 

it's just slow.. well get used to that.

 

It's getting a bit better for me, as my private messages have finally been marked as read.

 

Same, slow to updating with the new posts and the users online didn't show up, is it because of server overloaded?

 

I have had the same problem with logging in and it puts me back on the same page not logged in. when i look at the bottom of the page it shows me as online but i can't access the control panel. When i check remember me on the login everything works fine.

 

DP is running through problems since yesterday. The posts do not get updated quickly and often I see myself to be the only one online on the index page.

Even the status of PMs with new messages received or sent is not updated real time!

Yes, i have had exactly the same problems, its just a bit slow. If you wait 10 mins after making a new thread or recieving a PM it actually happens.

Just be patient, all though it can be very frustrating if you are in the middle of a transaction!

 

The state of being alone in a very large forums like dp may be fearsome but it is only due to db issue. We too experienced it but it is getting back to normal.

 

i m also having problem when dp get lot of traffic and mysql cant handle all process same time.

so i think mysql having lot of process in que so we have trouble. yesterday i m get 10 minit delay from my sql.

exa. if i m read my pm then i m getting message again like unread message and that problem is solve after 10 minit. and when i m post in a thread that is not count in my post count and after 10 minit all thing is allright.


and this time i m not have any proble.

 

Database issues are known and being looked at. Please refer to threads in the S&F area, and not general chat, to see responses related to the problems you're facing.
