Is it just me or everyone.

Though Adsense is strict, I always think adsense as most paying than any other revenue program.
Any other revenue program/network that pays similar to adsense.?????
I have used zedo, it sucks. I had daily page loads of 10-12K, i used to earn $1.5 - $2.5 / day, but Zedo was like $0.1 - $0.2.

AdSense is the best, followed by infolink and chitaka, just to share

While there are plenty of alternatives to adsense... Adsense in my opinion has been the most reliable source..

East or west, Adsense is the best. There is no 100% alternative of adsense

What is your niche? If I had 10-12k pageloads a day on all my sites I'd be on a beach in Tahiti checking my adsense earnings, $1.5-2.5 a day with that volume should be pulling in tens of dollars per day if not well over $100.

What?? with 10-12k page views a day, my site would be making a decent amount. I bet you get traffic from Asian and middle eastern countries. They don't seem to pay well. By the way, what is your website?

The bad thing about adsense is that you are at the absolute mercy of Google who can shut your account down at anytime and will not give you a reason or a reconsideration. The good thing is that it pays pretty well if you do it right, just be sure to build other income streams as well.

Actually it does not work that way...the more PV's you get the less money you make.
So if I got 10,000 PV's a day and I am making $50 you would think that if I got 20,000
    PV's a day I would be making $100...right? Wrong...more like $75.

You have to factor in things such as where the PV's are coming from. What is the CTR
What is the RPM. There have been many days where I mad more money with less PV's
    than I did with more.

    Example...yesterday 159,000 PV's made me $603
    In May 200,000 PV's made me $197.

Why? CTR was 30% better and CPC in the US was .32 that day in May while yesterday
    it held at .93.

I will see 4.3 Million PV's this month. I settled for a condo in Colombia instead of a beach
    in Tahiti. :)

Anyone had issues with Google support for Adsense? I had a query and never got a reply - that was 2 years ago.

adsense sometimes give reconsideration. I once wrote to adsense when they penalised my site for posting a link not related to my niche (and probably againts their TOS). but this option is for later and just incase. Adsense is still the most reliable out there, obviously.

Alternative is ofcourse a relative word. You will never found 100% alternative of any product/service. So i say Do experiment and see what works for you BEST.

There are networks like DigitalPoint that connect marketers with other webmasters who will place ads on their website for a fee, but there is obviously less volume with those types of services than what you would find through adsense. The only beef I really have with adsense is that the regulations are not only strict, but downright unreasonable at times. If you don't do things exactly how Google tells you, you can get banned, even if it's something minuscule like the color them of your ads verses the them of your site.

If you're really looking for an alternative, it might help to look for some of the big communities within your niche (like forums or very large blogs) that offer similar advertising structures but are more flexible in their regulations. Obviously, one place by itself won't make up for all the advantages you'll find through adsense, but working with several of them at a time could be a big difference. This is actually something that I've been meaning to try, but have never got around to it. Websites and forums are becoming more savvy in that they're connecting more webmasters to potential advertisers, and this could potentially take some of the steam away from the Google adsense machine. Unfortunately, a lot of people enjoy the convenience that comes from working with a single platform, so I'm not to sure if it will ever put a large dent on Google's influence in the advertising space.
