Is it just me or does it seem like designers are getting lazy lately?

What I mean is I see a lot of designs but most of them look like they are similar. Some are just so far out in left field it is not funny. What happened to the clean glassy look? Most are so bright anymore they hurt my eyes to look at them. Is this the new trend or is it just me being me?

I would like to hear others thoughts on this especially designers opinions.

I agree, I have found that lately it has become very over crowded hence, not a lot of variety in designs.
