    That's just playing with the BB code a little. No biggie at all.
    Set up your template (May it be pluses '+++' or any other signs) of your money bar. Set up the goal you want to reach. Then color the signs that refer to your progress.
    So it'll look something like this:

    Goal: 0$ ++++++++++ 1,000$
    You can up with any design you wish :)

    If you need a sample code:
    Goal: 0$ [B][COLOR=Green]++++[/COLOR][/B]++++++ 1,000$
