i have read that its illegal to sell fb fan pages ? is that true

WOW I had never even thought to sell a facebook page! I know it is against Twitters TOS to sell or give accounts over to other users so I am guessing facebook would be the same

 

I think you would certainly run the risk of getting your Facebook page closed down if Facebook were to ever gain knowledge of a sale. Once again, a very grey area, some would agree, some wouldn't. look through the TOS's

I wont consider it as legal because according to their tos its illegal but I dont think if you take a law then max sentence will be banning of your account

Agreed. Facebook could spend forever fighting legal battles. The max would be too close your 'present' account and ban that associated email.

 

It's arguable whether you actually "own" it since it's on FB... but lots of people sell things like accounts on MMOs and such that they don't technically own.

You can sell but not publicly. Because it is against the TOS of facebook.

 

Is ok to sell your facebook pages as long as they bought the business, but really if no one tells your ok.. add new owner as admin and remove yourself... i do it all the time
