Is it harder to get listed in Yahoo or google?

    Without a doubt it is much easier to unravel the Yahoo algo than Google's. In addition, being more on page, Yahoo's ranking responds more directly to things you can control.

    I concur as well... yahoo either updates really slow or just has some very age specific algorhytms.. or something... very hard...

    My site is doing better on Yahoo! than on Google for most keywords, but MSN is surely the easiest Search Engine to get a good rank! I have almost position 100-120 for Google and position 30-35 for Yahoo and #1/#2 for MSN search

    I think that the SE's in order of difficulty starting with the hardest are:
    - Google (hardest)
    - Yahoo (harder)
    - MSN (hard)

    In my experience it was easier to get into MSN first then Yahoo second THEN google third.

    My initial SEO was simply to submit 250 articles and MSN had me at no.1 for a little while and yahoo followed.

    Google took 8 months to list me for my keywords but by then i was doing linking etc
