Guys, Can any one help me to choose best option for web development? Is custom website is better or blog is better for SEO ?
This question is far too vague as both have their merits and it mostly depends on exactly what you do with whatever you get. So, just choose one, read some articles on SEO, pick a low competitive niche and just experiment, eventually, if you're really serious, you'll get there.
depends on your objective. if you plan to keep adding new material/articles atleast every few days, then blog would be a good idea. if it is somewhat of a statis site, the website is good. you can however SEO optimize both blogs and websites and link building is same for both
i think, blog is better for SEO because it will create more fresh content and more flexible... PS. Important that we should have a good Link Popularity...

Yes, depends of your proposes. Personally prefer to use wordpress platform, sometimes even like CMS or not so offen updated site. It ranks very good with the proper plugins.
I see many web development companies use either or both. They are both optimised in the same way and links are built in the same way. There is no specific SEO advantage one gives over another. It all depends on what you do with what you setup. Sometimes, for a beginner it's better to use a blog because they are largely optimised out of the box... but then of course, you may not learn anything. But really, I don't like to recommend one over another. As someone else suggests: If you plan on publishing post after post setup a blog. If you plan on a static website go for that. They will both be optimised in the same way. One is really not better than the other.
