    Definitely not. SEO is a steady process and buying links never helpful your site rather search engine may give a negative impact.

    I think, the google policy about buying/selling dofollow high PR links is unappropriate:

    They make a great fuss about that, but they do really nearly nothing. They do not invest any significant amount of funds in order to find buyers & sellers. They just wait for some denunciatory reports (not easy to know that your competitors buy links !).

    If Rolex invest no more money than google against fraud, everyone may have a Rolex!

    Then when google knows a case (one out of ....), they usually reduce PR while often keeping unchanged position in SERP. This is non sense since they argue that buying links means manipulating google algorithm. If they know a site manipulates algorithm, they should always move the site from SERPs.

    How many current number 1 SERP sites have bought links in the past and can now keep number 1 position without buying links ? Quite a lot !!!
    Just because google did nothing against buying/selling links for years in the early 2000's.

    Keep in mind that link trade really started when google released PR in the google bar. So google boosted link trade for years.

    For some time it seems to be good because if you buy link from high rank site you will find increase in your page rank,but if Google will catch this action it may penalize your website.So it is batter to do ethical SEO instead of buying liks.Good Luck.......:)

    Generating Links through ethical process seems to be time consuming thing.
    if we calculate the amount of time and multiply with the money, the ethical link building would be more costilier.
    isn't that correct?

    Ive read that aslong as you only buy small numbers and keep them relavent to the site then you can usually get away with it.
