is it good or bad?

is it good or bad that if i submit my post to both

my wordpress site and blogger.com ?

I am writing everything on my own for my website, so the most I can post is like one post or two a day.

but i was also posting in my old blogger.com account for backup, is it good or bad in the long run? and will advertisers will consider double posts if i keep doing in the long run?? I basically post for mirror reason..

I am just curious and hope to hear some advices from you experts on this matter.. coz i am relatively new to blogging to be honest.

Duplicate content. Just choose one and concentrate on it.

 

Yes, search engine will not like it.

If you want a backup, there are many ways to do it

1. Make your copy on local computer
2. If you use wordpress hosted, you can change the Blog Visibility under privacy option menu, make it "I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors". It will make your blog no indexed in search engine, but still accessible. I don't know how to do it on blogger.com
3. Export your wordpress post from Export menu (if using wordpress hosted)

I did that for almost a year before I was even aware of SEO. Unringing that bell took a looooong time.

This is a good idea but I think my idea is better. To keep my blogs alive, I am posting a few first portion of the post on my blogspot blog and direct a link to the whole post at my WP blog.

I am NOT just so sure though if it is still can be called duplicate content.

 

I think best thing will be put a post on blog saying its moved with a link to new site and keep up with your new site and fully concentrate on building it up and build its popularity.

 

another way to back up your site is to use feedburner for feeds. then subscribe yourself via email. once a day you'll get an email of all your posts. just don't delete those emails.

i will post everything in my own domain and i will post just a sentence or two in my blogspot.com and point it to my domain, that may probably be better as my blogspot has some regular visitors but most of the stuff I posted there are junks.. maybe I can persuade my old visitors to my new domain..
