Please tell me is it good or bad if in any site if we check back links and in that we are seeing our own only that site's pages in back links .. i mean firing this query in google search bar link:http://www.example.com showing pages of example.com in back links!!?? The question is not simple. The way you have worded it, it makes me think that either; You are asking about the other persons links being displayed and yours are not; or your links being displayed in the searches. Links coming back to your site, (If good quality), can be good for your ranking. Best Wishes, ~ Mike
having links from your own site is NO BAD. I'll say, it is good to have more and more back links from your own site. If you have links from ONLY your own site, then it is not going to help in SERPs greatly.
Backlink is good as long as they are related to your sites. People will not buy food if they are in church. he..he..
yes when you search with link:www..... it will not show the links which you are intended too.. if you search just your site in search box you will probably see number of sites linking to you. but if you see using link:..... you will get to less.
use yahoo site explorer: https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ to show all backlinks. If you submitted your site at google webmaster tools, you can also view the exact backlink counts there. fyi, link:www.domainname.com will only display certain link.
this is very normal things as your site must have links to internal pages right? so if your page A give links to page b that mean page b having one back link from page A...so when u check back link for page b it will show page A url.
