It depends on your niche, for sure. 15 cents is a decent click in some popular and large areas, like games.
There is also a hell called "smart pricing". When I had only 150 clicks/day, my earnings were about $180/day. Now I have 600 clicks/day and only $280, with the same pages, keywords and advertisers.

Is there any idea of overcoming smart pricing (except having a duplicate account :D ) ?

I think you can do lots better. You should get about 50 cents to 75 cents per click IMO.

It's not how much you make per click, it's how much you make at the end of the day. Obsessing about PPC is pointless because you don't have control over how much certain ads cost unless you build a site solely to target high-paying keywords. Who cares if you're making 10-cents a click if, at the end of the day, you're clearing 3/4 figures? I certainly don't.

actually you can control your clicks heh :p

build a site about life insurance and you'll get high click, it might be difficult to get se traffic though.

THANK YOU JACK! I get so tired of people wasting time looking for "high paying keywords" and trying to create sites around mesothelima, etc. If you create a site on a topic that you're passionate about, you'll not only create original, quality content, but you'll be better inclined to promote your site and gain traffic. To all you keyword junkies, stop searching (or even worse paying) for the top keywords and focus more on CONTENT and TRAFFIC.

I almost agree with this but when at the end of the day you see total of below $10 with clicks above 100 for a site you put some work on there is a little disapointment rising.

If I was going to create a new site i'd probably create one about austrian snow pigs, I think that would make a nice niche......

It's about how much you make per day. I agree.

I don't even count click, but I count how much I earn. If it's increase in everyday, I am happy.

Try spending a little time reading DP, there is plenty of info about promoting your site. As far as "attracting massive traffic," start out with realistic goals. And please refer to my above post about high paying keywords.

Why did google decide to run PSA's on your site? I thought they just do that if there isn't enough content to find a relevant ad...

i think you have to change something on your home page. One of my website have a lot of contents, but display PSA's ads for a month after something content or some change. So I don't have any income from homepage and that page should earn more than any page.

There is something make ads not show. Try to copy source code from the homepage and create as a test page or do whatever you used to do.

Then try to remove/add something and use "Adsense preview" to check if "Damn Hurricane" gone or not then change and change.

Believe, I have that lesson already.

Whatever you earn, you need to aim to get that that little bit higher the next week or month. ;) Whether that's by increasing traffic or CTR or by % of earnings per click ... but just aim for that little bit more. Not much. Just bit by bit.

I have two sites, that have very diferent stories.

One of them is getting around 150 click/day and gets $15-$20 on average.

Then, I have the other site, that gets 15 clicks/day and earnings go from $15-$20.

First one gets around 5k uniques a day, the other one hardly 200 ;)

If only, I can switch places for the two sites, so the second one gets the clicks of the first one ;) Eh....
