You're a warrior and inspiration. Good to hear real success story from hard-working folk with a creative mind. You seem to be working at different projects from time to time, how many hours do you work daily?
For the not so brilliant of us...can you explain how the heck you're making soo much moola....I Needs to make some moneis ASAP...times are poop! MSN or PM?
Considering you're using craigslist - where are you from ItalianBred? Italy? Are you using the local sections of craigslist or overall all countries? Would really like some advices on how your approach is.
No, he's just Mr.LeN and use to sell bowl on Ebay after eating the italian bread of course. And I can't believe so many people swallowing all this crap Oh well...
My approach is pretty simple. I offer a service in helping businesses get themselves who are only in the offline world make their presence in the online world. Getting a domain, setting up the website and promotion is the start. Now handregging isnt always the best idea, so I normally will charge 15-20% to acquire a domain payable by the seller. I basically just charge a flat rate aside from the getting the domain name. It's not crap, its a good way to make money and to get out there. There is ALOT of money to be made in the offline world colliding together. It seems people think that "internet" is where all the money and while it is, you need to get the offline ventures to get online to make things really go around. Sorry you are skeptical, but good luck with your online ventures! IB P.S only sold on Ebay a few baseball cards and I eat garlic bread with my spaghetti.
This is too true; I've been a senior software developer all my life; for the past 2 years I've been working only online, IM, SEO, Domains, Programming and I've only just returned back to a "day job". You wanna know the difference? online everybody knows the value and wants things for less than value.. here's a perfect example: Last month I made 4 "normal" CMS [wp/drupal] websites in a week - each one was about $200 each. It took me ages to find the jobs, I was working very long hours through till midnight to do; and got the money in paypal. Last week I made 1 "normal" CMS [drupal] website, it was virtually the same as the ones made the previous month, if anything easier (and certainly less hours / shorter days for me) - difference this one was through my day job; they charged $9k for it; the client was happy as other quotes had been up to $18k. Fact: around digital point, warrior forum, domain forums and other online sites we all sell for and buy at "internet" prices; these are VASTLY different to real world prices. A new mini website + domain would take me about 2 hours to do for myself; and I'd value at $100 max - to a normal "offline" business they'd easily pay 20x that for the same, as the income they will make (from there offline customers who find them via the site) will easily mean it pays for itself. It's an interesting world. Back to the point; ItalianBred, well done, I'm impressed that somebody else took the jump and "just did it"; it's amazing how fast you can make money when you stop thinking about it, working it out and trying to trade in the places where everybody else knows and has the same skills as you. Really, congrats man and may the hard work continue to pay off for you - remember always keep it offline!
is it can we make such a big money in 14 days? what strategies we should have? how to take projects from clients ? he said that he made 250$ on 1st day for writing a report . where and did he get projects like that?
Do you advertise offline to find local businesses that needs web presence? I wonder if it is possible to do remotely.
I never talked to the guy due to him being busy making his living...but while reading this thread I got some ideas. Thanks for that at least...
I agree with the online/offline discussion. I have paid a lot of money for some services in the past that I have seen advertised for free or next to free on this forum. The offliners do not understand how simple some of this is, and can be a great source of income for those of us that do. Best of luck, IB, and anyone else putting in the effort!
