I personally feel there are way too many Antivirus, spyware and registry applications out there, and I'm starting to think it's a cone. I have both Uniblue power suite and regcure on my system, If one scanner doesn't detect as many errors as the other one, what dose it mean? also: some spyware removers I've tried in the past seem to pick up problems where the other one doesn't, are there certain standards to what is considered Spyware?...or a registry error? why can't i just have one scanner that detects everything! and the software can just download it's updates from an international database, rather than multiple company's who seems to just want to keep the news about infections to themselves for their own software ? It's a market, It's just another money grubbing business... there has to be competition...If peoples computers where truly clean because we all had the same spyware definition, the vendors would be in big trouble wouldn't they?
Personally, I don't think it's a good idea to have even ONE registry cleaner on your PC. Rather than scanning for problems, why not just use common sense to avoid spyware/registry junk in the first place. And if you do get a problem, open up regedit and pick out the bad apples yourself
The BEST reg cleaner i have found is REGSEEKER First time i used it,it removed 850 keys or so........ I gave it a home STRAIGHT AWAY
