Hi there, I want to know that are the following SEO techniques enough for getting the traffic from the Search engines especially from Google. 1. Using Unique Title for every webpage. 2. Unique Description with the targeted keywords in it. 3. Meta Keywords 4. Alt Tags 5. Using Keywords in the first paragraph 6. XML sitemap generation submission. 7. Building more links, links and links through the natural ways. By using the above methods can a 6 months old Non-SEO website produce average traffic? I will really appreciate any help. yes it can. Getting organic traffic is very easy if you put in the time. Its not the fact that its hard to get popular with google searches, it more of a problem of time and effort people want to put in. Most people want to get rich quick. But if you take the time to put in the effort and don't stop, then you'll see results. Try it for a few months and watch your traffic and revenue go up. Its slow at first but once you start doubling up everything each month it'll motivate you quickly like myself.
average traffic might depend on the keywords you are targeting. If you target the right keywords it could be hard, but once you get in the first 2 pages you will already see results (which will motivate you to get #1 for that given keyword).
ya this is be good for starting but not enough... what you have suggested are only internal SEO. There are many further ways of doing so.... concentrate more on external seo as you should give a gateway to people to come and visit your website and that will be done through external seo rather than internal linking. Good internal linking helps in ranking better on google's SERP which will also send traffic to your website. hence make a balanced format between the two.
What about #7? I'd move #7 to the top of the list, but other than that, this is who SEO is pretty much done on all sites. I wouldn't rule out buying links, you just need to make sure you are buying VERY high quality links. I can help you with that if you need help. Brandon
I think you're missed to mention the most important thing "content" there, for quality traffic use good content.

yes that's correct "there is no enough in SEO world"...for even seo expert need to research new technique...all you need to do is keep on reading and at the same time apply your knowledge to your site... its a continuous learning ..
