Is it easy to instal windows service pack 2 on a vista

I purchased a new pc and it is coming along with vista. I am not a hater of vista but i am hearing of too many problems with it. I though i give it a try and if it blows get service pack 2. Is it possible to install windows service pack 2?

 

depends on which company you bought. i've something about it. if you don't like vista, you can change it for a xp at no cost. but i cant remember the companies sorry

 

I don't understand. You want to install Windows SP2 on Vista? Don't do that what ever you do.

If you want to downgrade to XP then of course that is possible but you'll have to put a fresh install in.

 

Yes, only clean install. It is of course possible. Just save your data on other disk before installing and format partition when install XP SP2

 

I don't think Vista has SP2 already. SP2 is for Windows XP correct me if I am wrong.
