It depends on your niche, article quality and the amount of articles you submit to them. Although it can be a little slow.

Yes it is easy to get traffic come ezinearticles, just the amount you are looking for may not be what you want. It does depend on the niche you are targeting and if the article is really worth reading. Write a good article that is worthwhile and submit 1 a day to ezine with links to whatever site(s) in your bio box at the bottom. The traffic will come, just not overnight.

I have decent results from ezinearticles. What I can say really drives success is picking the right topic for the article (based on keyword research) and the right keywords to include in the article. If you write about a very obscure topic or one lacking search traffic, it will likely do nothing for you. Therefore, before you do anything do some keyword research and use it to drive the topic for your article.

Don’t use ezinearticles, why would Google give you traffic when your full article is on a better website ranking higher than you.

The reason to use ezinearticles is to increase the rank of your site. It is a popular site and the inbound links from it enhance your sites perceived importance. The articles of course should be replicated on your site as well. In addition, given its popularity it will more than likely rank higher than your site for popular search terms and enjoys and existing audience who may stumble upon you when looking for something else. To find the popular keywords, you would need to perform a search for those keywords and see where ezinearticles ranks. There are also tools out on the market that help you figure out what sites rank for what keywords. A word of caution however, there are others popular article sites that are topic specific and may rank higher for certain keywords - you should also investigate those.

theres millions of articles on article submission sites. Majority are non-existent in google.
If google ranked every ezinearticle..the entire Google pages would be filled with SERPS for ezinearticles.

Traffic comes from people clicking on links and going to your site. So the exposure of your links or articles is the question. Where should or could you put them to get the most clicks.

The internet still has a long way to go. it can be frustrating to know that all the legitimate work you do can be spoiled by cheats ans shortcuts. For example, I know a strategy for traffic right now that could obliterate all competition ..but, I wouldnt use it because its considered unethical. But I know from studying SEO ..that others are using it.
