What's your thought? How would you take on such a project?

Sounds like a debate topic for high school :)

Way too many factors to make that a sensible discussion. About 15 years ago someone came up with an idea to sell more silicon wrist bands and somehow came up with these - I think I was the only person I knew who never bought one and that was just because nobody could explain the science to me.

Now, these weren't $1, but they sold like hotcakes.

I'm sure there have been many more low-cost items that have flopped and left a budding entrepreneur with a garage full of junk. Would they say that selling the cheap item is hard and they should have gone for the expensive one?

On the other hand real estate agents/realtors sell million-dollar homes every day and they'll tell you that you just need to match the right buyer with the right house. But if you can't find someone who agrees that the vendor has a realistic price selling that home will be every bit as hard as selling dodgy silicon bands.

Houses are low hanging fruit though. What if you're a construction firm and you're trying to win a million dollar contract for a bridge or road? Essentially the sale is done, there's a commitment to buy, but it would be really hard to convince the buyers that your firm is best.
