is it dangerous to report spammy links?

    That can't be answered 100%. If you read the Q&A you would see that Google answered: "we may do spot checks".

    I'm not sure it's getting through to you. You seem to keep wanting to dig your hole deeper.

    Your spamming activities have come back to haunt you. They have put you in a difficult situation where you run a risk of manual (penalty) if you use the disavow link tool. You can't contact Google as it will result in a penalty. However, you do not have such action (yet). Do some real, genuine SEO/content marketing!

    AND work on getting the links you made removed.

    This will put you in a better position for when the time comes that you do get a penalty, as the only links you will need to then remove/disavow are the ones your friend made for you. (IF you get one, as you could even end up being very lucky and escaping.)
