It would be interesting to have the option to boot either. Seems like a bit of work and usually someone is either a mac or windows fan, generally not both equally. So they choose one or the other. But if it works for you what the heck. Sounds like something to play around with if you are into both systems.

I want to run both on a Mac. The advantage is that I can use the reliability of MAC OS for my day to day work, but use Windows to take advantage of the software that MAC OS cannot work with. (Visual Studio)

Wouldn't it be better to use BootCamp and have both Mac OS and Win 7?

lol..You should give me your mac and I would give you my Windows 7 installed laptop. Honestly removing your mac os for Windows will be a big blunder. Ya, you could make a dual boot i you would want if you want to check Win 7 OS

I think it’s great to have both - I run OSX in a VM, and it’s come in useful a few times.
If I had a mac I would run bootcamp and use both OS's. Why not? The Mac OS does some things better, and Win7 does something better. Using both only makes sense to me.

For instance, I find I have an easier time using Adobe Illustrator on OSX, and I *can't* use 3D Studio Max on OSX.
