Is it by default for bloggers?

I have a blogger's blog. In the blog layout section there is one option for google adsense to display on your blog. When I clicked on that, it shows something ca-pub-###### by default. What id is that? Is it a demo ID? OR blog from bloggers had the default ID?

If you have given Blogger the access to your AdSense account, it is your own id.
Just go to your AdSense account and check if it matches.

When i signed up for Adsense the ID on Blogger changed to the one that was assigned to me by adsense but does allow me to change the ID if I wanted to. I think because both are owned by google that they are automatically tied together.

    Thanks for the reply,

My a/c is not activated yet, it's under review. Such a long waiting

Though I can see an ID ? This is surprising, hence asking here. From where did it come?

But which ID is the source of your income?
Or is it that you can use both the IDs?
    I doubt though.
