I want to (obviously) create more links to my articles on my site. So what I'm going to do is take one article which focuses on one keyword, then change it a bit over and over again, then submit it to multiple article directories. My question is should the links in the resource box of each one keep going back to my original article, or should I make a chain between article directories leading back to the original article? So site "D" article leads to site "C" article which leads to site "B" article which leads to site "A" article which finally links to my original article. VS. They all go back to the original article/no chain. Which is more rewarding as far as ranking goes for that original article?
in my opinion is always better to spread your links..because that way it shows that your website is quality one because you get links to many pages of it..which means that every page is important
Best approach: Let ALL links point to your OWN web site. Second best approach: pick the 3 best article directories and point to your top 3 choices (I mean the articles). But if you do a lot of work and all points to other peoples domains: That is RISKY business. Or in plain English: Stupid. You should be able to afford at least $1 per year for a .info domain. You can host it for free for the time being. But at least you will be building YOUR assets and not just filling other people's pockets with your work.
In this example I'm sending the links back to only one page/article on my site no matter what I end up doing. So are you saying linking through several article sites is better (my site<a<b<c<d, etc.) or it's better for every site to point back to my site (my site<a, mysite<b, mysite<c, mysite<d)?
I would like to recommend you to point all links to one article. It's much better than chaining them. You can have a try to see the effect.
only one thing will happend in that way Ur one unique content article will be converted in to a bunch of duplicated spammy article which google will not give a shit
I suggest deep links throughout your site, you should have a lot of links pointing to your main URL, but it's best if you have deep links to all major pages of your site.
