I am wondering if its better to create 3 sites or just all in one.. For example if i have an blog, article directory, and a link directory Is it better for me to have them each on a separate domain or all on one domain... I use to think subdomains were better yet I find it hard to market whatever is on a subdomain especially when doing link building... What are everyones thoughts?
How are the three separate sites related or not related? If they're targetting the same topics and keywords then I see no reason why you shouldn't have them all as one site, all sharing the same overall link love. It's then just a question of targetting your specific keywords for each. If you do opt for one central site, you have the added value of referral from one area to another. Users are much more likely to browse multiple areas of the same site than browse to a completely new one and ask the "Is this a site I can trust?" question again. Hope that helps
I believe that three sites are better You don't have to work with one, sometimes you are tired of the same site every day... then you go and update other site and so on
I have 5 sites. Some are the same niche. It allows me to try different things on different site niches.. Ex. Keywords, tables v/s tableless css, image alt text, etc...
